Since upping the dosage from 2 to 4 wafers daily ( on my Dr.'s advice ) my nose has stopped running and my chest feels less heavy and the amount of mucus I am producing has lessened considerably . I'm so sorry it has taken me this long to get back with you, but I've been feeling so much better I'm afraid to talk about it. By the way Thank You so much for all of the information about NAC it cleared up a lot of questions I had & at this point all I can say is I will never be without it - it's just hard to believe I've gone all these years feeling so bad & this in a very short amount has made feel this good.
I have had upper respiratory problems all of my life, really since I was an infant I've battled one upper respiratory infection after another. I tried an experiment and found out I need to stay on NAC and I will tell you what happened. I dislike having to take any form of medication or vitamins and I was taking NAC two times a day and feeling great! I thought 'I am OK' so I stopped NAC for two days and discovered if I don't take this daily I will get into trouble! So I am going to take it 3x a day until I get my breathing under control. I can get air in I just can't get air out without wheezing. I learned a good lesson. Can you please send me more NAC immediately?
